The baby was born on 29 March 1985 at Roswell near New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her first name. Gerina Stevenson's parents were Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood however she has an American nationality. The desire to be a sportsperson was born as a child. Gerina played golf in her first game at age 15. Gerina finished her high school education in Goddard High School. As a high school student, Gerina was the winner of the New Mexico golf state tournament. She was also a volleyball player who competed at the state level. She began attending in the University of Texas. She took home all the events she took part in throughout her senior years. In the course of her undergraduate studies she was awarded the title as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
