The babies were at the crib, as I was strapped in with an infant on my back. Ha! It was all falling into place, but it was not quite done. Nora came into our lives in 2013 as our 4th baby. My company was doing well but I wanted a rest. I got away from furniture that was vintage to enjoy the time I needed with my children. It was exactly what I was looking for at the moment. But after a couple of months off the phone started to ring. I was getting messages from individuals asking for help in home improvement as well as interior design. Most of them came into my residence at my open house for furniture. As I went along I added new clients to my list one by one. It wasn't too long before I had several clients, and had a profitable home improvement business. If you'd told me that my venture would end up being the basis for a DIY Network show, I might have thought you were crazy. Actually I still kind of amused when I think of the idea.
